Picture of the day~

A library in a public university I went today. Men and women cannot sit together you know, very 'dangerous'. So 'brothers' have to go to the right, and 'sisters', to the left. Have to sit far far away from each other, so no chance of khalwat. Play safe.

The university also has TWO stadiums, one for 'brothers', and one for 'sisters'. Cool right...

I want a toy poodle!

Aren't they adorable???
I want one!
But it's just a wish. A dream.
Coz it's too expensive!
Sigh

Cheras-Kajang Highway freak accident

I don't know why, but every year during the 7th Lunar Month, I notice many people pass away naturally or unnaturally. The elder people will say that it is because of the Hungry Ghost Festival, where the hell gates are opened for the spirits to roam the earth, and they will ground us after 7pm, fearing that the hungry ghosts will harm us or whatsoever.

Yesterday, on the very first day of the 7th Lunar Month, a freak accident took away 2 lives and left 7 others injured, with 5 in critical condition. You might be thinking that I'm being superstitious for making a connection with the freak accident with the 7th lunar month, but would you not believe it in this case? To me it's like too true to be a coincidence, especially when you drive to and fro from school using the very same road almost everyday.

Read the news here.

The accident caused a massive jam which lasted around 5 hours
A 10-tonne lorry carrying big rocks came down from the slope on
the upper left of the picture. I think the brakes failed and
look what happened in the coming pictures.
Luckily there was a 8-feet high stone wall, if it were to be a flat piece of land, imagine
how bad it would be if the lorry didn't stop and go on crashing into the Giant Hypermarket
I don't think there's anyway the lorry driver could have
survived the crash
in such a condition
The Iswara is beyond recognition
The usual crowd at accident sites
The Kancil and Kelisa. The driver of the Kancil survived unharmed.
The lorry's first victims. The motorcycle and the Ssang Yong.
Pile of scrap metal, and rocks. Look at the sandwiched van.
Miraculously, the driver survived the crash.

Imagine that if it were you, at 9:30 in the morning, you were happily driving to work/school, happily thinking that today is a Friday and thinking of plans with your friends and loved ones for the weekend, and suddenly a 10-tonne lorry out of nowhere came crashing into you, just like a big bowling ball, sweeping you and the other cars right to the stone wall? You don't even have time to say goodbye to your loved ones, nor tell them how much you love them, or tell them how sorry you are for all the mistakes you have made.

Life is precious, but very short. There's a chinese saying that, 棺材是裝死人,不是裝老人 (Coffins are for dead people, not old people). We'll never know when we might leave this world, maybe tomorrow, maybe the very next second. Just like Kpl Mohd Nuh Ali, who in his many years put his life at risk diffusing bombs, would not even imagned that he would die in such a way.

Condolenses to the families of Kpl Mohd Nuh Ali and Mr. Kang Ban Hin, may both of them rest in peace. As for the 7 other survivors, may you get well soon.

Life is not just about eating, drinking, sleeping, and enjoying. Live our lives to the fullest, be grateful for what we have now and cherish the people around us before everything is too late.

Dad, Mom, Michelle, Missy, Bing, my family members, my friends, and my loved one,
I LOVE YOU ALL.
