"Saya Anti-Rasuah"

The tag line above sounds familiar right? Did it work anyway? Of course not!

My mom and I was on the Federal Highway in PJ, and suddenly all cars from the fast lane was cutting to the middle lane.

One policeman was pointing and waving and shouting to his other "Anti-Rasuah" crew that they have caught another BIG fish.

So the red fish had to stop by the roadside.

*Wind down the window and hand over driving license*

"Over speed limit la Cik"

"Speed berapa?"

*Pointing at the clipboard with a full list of fishes*

"97kmph. Tunggu saman sekejap"

"Tolong sikit la, mau hantar anak pergi sekolah, sudah lewat ni"

"Mau macam mana tolong?"

"30 ringgit boleh?"

"Tak boleh"

"Ok lah, 50 ringgit, boleh?"

"Ok ok. Letak bawah lesen."

*passes over license again with RM50 note below*

"Harga saman sekarang mahal tau, RM200. Awak sudah untung RM150 ni!

*signaled us to leave*

"Niasing, rasuah my RM50 samo dare say I untung RM150..."

And it all happened in less than 2 minutes. And I was speechless during the whole process...
What a good way of making fast money~

aiyo,
that day me n boss meeting a client in old klang road also kena.
boss driving, talking over the phone without handsfree, tiba tiba, the police like ghost come out, tak tau dari man pulak.
so that time raining, and we are rushing, as usual.
so it goes:
my boss: sorry la sorry la
anti rasuah: cik IC license? (in a very polite manner)
My boss: sorry la, tak da handsfree la, sudah rosak la
anti rasuah: cik bahaya tau, u perempuan lagi, ah.. hujan lagi..
my boss: encik, boleh settle sikit ar,
anti rasuah: macam mana? (the magic word, or so called pass word to rasuah)
then my boss took out her purse.
Then the police man return her IC n LIiense and said: 'selit dalam, kasi selit dalam' (means to slip the money in between the 2 cards. smart.
then the perdagangan ends with:
my boss: sorry ar!
police: cik, lain kali jangan ar, bahay tau..

sooo polite.. just like a fren, giving kind advice.. yeah rite, the under table business fren ma, we are their 'rice bowl' leh.

and me? kept queit all along at the passenger's seat, looking out the window, can't really see the police face,,, all i see is the white badge with marroon words written: SAYA ANTI RASUAH.

cis...
moral of the story: they are anywhere, everywhere, no matter rain or shine. rain lagi bagus, the transaction goes even smoother.

No matter.
I drive 120kmph standard, wherever I go. So like, it's "dangerous" for people like me.
